Busted Collision
Boom, Bang, Crash
That's all we hear
Your eyes flash
Your head is clear
Images shoot past
Like a speeding deer
Your life explodes into one tiny hat
Sucked up tight, exhausting fear
Reality bounces back
Beep, Smash, Think
Imagination Vs Reality
This void room I can't seem to escape
dark and riddled with velvet-laced thoughts
a bare room, simple to become lost in
We can be with each other there
sadly that is not our shared fate
my imagination cannot be bought
reality is where we belong, where it truly begins
here we are not a pair
Stole glances delivered seconds too late
attention is never gained but always sought
longing to experience what imagination deemed fair
reality comes bouncing back knocking down my interests like a bowling pin
the imagination swerves around never falling but filling with hate
nothing comes of this hate for reality will always win when fought
imagination sits on the back burner feeling like a trash bin
for we cannot be two because in reality we are separate
never close enough, stuck in a split parking lot
our equation covered by ink
splattered over torn pages
stuck in my imagination
